    This 3-star rating is a mixed bag.
    First, it is about average for buffet.  I have had better and far worse.
    This location is far better than the other Ichiban I have been to in the Charlotte area (by the airport).
    Most of the food was decent.  There were only one or two items that I rolled back into a napkin.
    The sushi was okay.  Ru San's is far better for Charlotte Sushi.
    The one thing I was a bit off was the waitress.  She was about as friendly as charcoal.

    I wouldn't pass on this place, but I won't go out of my way either.  Won't warn you away, but I will suggest 'judge for yourself'.

    If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Sushi is so DRY and not fresh!! Like it had been sitting out for hours. And one of the pasta taste so awful that I physically almost threw up. That has NEVER happened to me at any other restaurant. The dollar store cookies on the dessert bar wasn't even good. I could go on and on!! Please DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

    It's been over an hour and I still feel like I'm going to be sick!!

    Don't come here . Had lunch here with the hubby since we were nearby to the mall. I needed to eat , I usually don't like to eat at places that have less than stellar reviews . This place made me sick afterwards . I was the only one who felt ill afterwards . My husband ate the same foods and he wasn't ill. Eat at your own risk!!!!

    It's not even worth the one star. The pictures online and outside the restaurant must have been taken at another restaurant entirely because inside is VASTLY  different...and disappointing. I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of THE worst buffets I've eaten at. None of the hibachi meats/veggies looked fresh, the tuna was grey, the spring rolls tasted funny, I could go on and on. Oh but the tea and orange slices were good. That is literally about it. All the restaurants around it could burn down and I STILL wouldn't eat there again. Save yourself a stomachache and eat elsewhere!

    If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It's been on a steady decline over the last year or so.  We went on a Friday night at dinner time (5:30/6pm). Food tasted like it had been out since lunch.  Everything was hard, except the fortune cookie which were burnt yet not cooked as it was soft and folded flat like a pancake. We are now at home hoping we don't get sick. This will be our last visit there.
